Aviary Fire

Firefighters from St. Ives were mobilised on receipt of this call, on arrival there was found to be an aviary measuring 6 x 3 metres which was alight, the fire was extinguished using hosereels and a main jet. Unfortunately, approximately 300 exotic birds were killed during the blaze.
