Crews from Helston and Camborne were mobilised to assist a horse which was trapped in a ditch, crews managed to attach lines to the horse and drag it on to level ground, unfortunately the horse was not able to get to his feet and the services of a vet were required and the crew gave assistance to get the animal to its feet, unfortunately the animal could not gain its feet and the vet decided to put it to sleep. Crews returning to home stations at approximately 0300 hours.
