Crews from Mevagissey and St. Austell attended this incident on the cliff edge, there was a large amount of gorse which was well alight, crews used beaters to extinguish the fire, although there were still some small areas of gorse smouldering, it was deemed to dangerous for crews to continue firefighting and the gorse was left to burn out on its own accord.
