The Brigade where called to an incident in a house involving the accidental ignition of an oxygen supply to a male casualty. 2 appliances from Launceston attended. Breathing apparatus and hosereel were used to control the situation. Oxygen therapy was given to the 2 residents. Ambulance attended the incident for the casualties. The residents were alerted to this incident as they had a correctly fiitted and working smoke alarm. The crews attending this incident believe that had there not been a smoke alarm at this premises then the situation would have been far more severe.
