Appliances from Falmouth attended this incident, the crews were faced with the fire on the cliff face which gave difficult access. The coastguards had alerted the Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat which assisted in transportation of personnel to gain access to the fire, crews extinguished the fire using jets and beaters. Crews were delayed for a time, finally returning to station at approximately 2030 hours. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
