Firefighters from St Ives were mobilised to reports of a bin fire in the street. On crews arrival they found one wheelie bin alight, which had spread to the exterior of a property and left the property heavily smoke logged. Crews extinguished the bin fire and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the property of smoke. The cause of the fire was the incorrect disposal of a barbeque.
