Gorse Fire
Steeple Woods, St. Ives at 21/05/2004 22:59
One crew from St. Ives were mobilised to this incident, on arrival there was found to be a small area of high gorse alight, crews used a jet to extinguish the fire. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
The Brigade have attended the area several times in recent weeks and on each occasion arson was suspected.
