At 1646hrs Fire Control received a call from a member of the public reporting that a car was on fire. A fire appliance from Truro Fire Station attended and on arrival found the car well alight and the vicinity heavily smoke logged. The Police were requested for traffic management. The crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire. The incident was handed over to the Police there are no further details for this incident.
