Chimney Fire

A crew of 6 firefighters in a pumping appliance from Bodmin Community Fire Station attended a call to a chimney fire this evening.
Upon their arrival, the woodburner had a fire in the top part of the chimney. The crew used a stirrup pump and small tools to extinguish the fire, further checking progress with a thermal imaging camera.
The fire was accidental and confined.
