Firefighters from Mevagissey attended reports of an overhead power cable sparking. On crews arrival they found a tractor engaged in hedge cutting had come into collision with a mains electricity pole, the pole was broken and hanging precariously over the road. Crews closed the road at the top and bottom of Bodrugan Hill and requested the attendance of Western Power. Crews remained on scene standing by while Western Power dealt with the incident . Devon and Cornwall Police were also in attendance. This is all the information we have on this incident.
