Assistance To Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service

At 2131 Cornwall Fire Control received many calls to a significant fire in Plymouth which was seen from the Cornwall side of the River Tamar. Details were passed to Devon and Somerset Fire Control, who requested assistance from Torpoint Fire Station and subsequently Saltash Fire Station and a water carrier from Liskeard. Cornwall FRS appliances are still assisting with this incident, together with a wholetime officer from Cornwall.
