Fire crews are currently dealing with an incident involving a chemical spill at a laundry company at Dudnance Lane in Pool, near Redruth.

Firefighters were called to the scene at around 1pm following reports that a drum had fallen from a lorry. Crews from Tolvaddon, Hayle, Truro, Penzance, St Just and Falmouth are on the scene and the area has been cordoned off. Dudnance Lane is closed at present and the fire service is advising people to avoid the surrounding area.

Police and Ambulance are also in attendance.

All details are as above and Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service have now left the scene.
