Loud Bang Alerts Occupant

Five firefighters on one appliance from St Austell and six on an appliance from St Dennis attended a call to a property where there was a loud bang and smell of burning. On crews arrival there had been a fire involving an iron on a cooker hob which had been turned on. The fire was out on crews arrival, crews inspected the scene and gave advice to the occupants of the premise.
