2 crews from Camborne responded to a 999 call received at 2239 reporting smoke issuing from a residential home in Roskear Camborne. The first crew were on scene at 2243 and reported a fire on the first floor of the building which was heavily smoke logged. Crews wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. A positive pressure ventilating fan brought to the scene by 2 fire fighters from Falmouth helped to clear the smoke. The cause is initially believed to be arson.
