Following a call to a fire at Trelissick, near Feock, crews from Truro Community Fire Station and Falmouth Community Fire Station, in 3 pumping appliances, totalling 15 firefighters, attended the scene, plus a wholetime officer.

Upon their arrival, the 2 storey domestic building, measuring approximately 11 metres x 8 metres had smoke issuing.

The fire was found to be on the ground floor of the building and was initially tackled using 2 breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet and one thermal imaging camera - further using 4 breathing apparatus. Some cutting away was carried out to help control the blaze.
