Nineteen crew on three appliances from Truro, Tolvaddon and a Water carrier from Helson attended a call to a telehandler on fire in a barn. On crews arrival the barn was well alight and soon after it was reported that the barn measuring 15 x 25 metres was fully involvedin the fire. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels intially. The timber barn contained a telehandler, two cars , 80 large straw bales and circa 200 small hay bales. A hydrant was used by the water carrier to shuttle water to the scene.
Update 17:15 firefighters are still offensive at this incident.
