At 22:55 a number of calls were received to a Caravan on fire on a holiday site in Newquay. Two appliances with a total of eleven crew were mobilised from Newquay fire station. The caravan was well alight on crews arrival and they used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels, one appliance set into a nearby hydrant to supply the first in attendance with water for a main jet. The cause of this fire is believed to be accidental.
