2 Pumping Appliances from Bude and 1 Pumping Appliance from Holsworthy attended a 2 storey domestic property fire in Alford Close, Bude.

1 male and 1 female were alerted by their smoke alarm and were rescued from the first floor of the building using a triple extension ladder and left in the care of the Ambulance Service suffering from smoke inhalation.

Crews used 2 Hosereels and 4 Breathing Apparatus to extinguish the accidental fire believed to have been situated in the ground floor lounge area. A Positive Pressure Fan was then used to ventilate the property of smoke.
