Appliances from Penzance, St. Just and St. Ives attended a severe fire involving a bungalow, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used jets and hosereels to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance throughout the day damping down. The body of an 83 year old man was found at the scene. Detectives and Fire Investigators scoured the bungalow for clues as to how the fire started. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
