One appliance and the rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised to search for a Jack Russell Terrier which was believed to have fallen into a shaft. Crews set up the Mine Rescue Equipment and a firefighter was lowered into the shaft and located the dog, which was successfully rescued and reunited with its owner, who then proceeded to take the dog to the vet for a check up.
