On receipt of this call at Fire Control, one appliance from St. Ives and the rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be one person trapped and two persons were released before the arrival of the Brigade, ambulance and police personnel were also quickly at the scene, the incident involved a car and a van, the crews used airbags and crash rescue equipment to extricate the casualty who was then taken to hospital by air ambulance.
