Fire Control received a call from a farmer reporting a van on fire in his field. One appliance from St Dennis attended and on arrival found a Mercedes Sprinter van well alight. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Police also attended the incident as two people were seen to abandon the van after driving it into the field. Arson is the suspected cause and the Police will be carrying out further enquiries.
