Two crews from Truro Community Fire Station, totalling 10 firefighters, plus a wholetime officer, were mobilised, following a call to Fire Control from a staff member, to a suspected fire in a bakery oven this morning.

Crews attending the building, which was a 2 storey commercial premises, measuring 10 metres x 8 metres, investigated the area using a thermal imaging camera, having initially isolating the gas and electrics. Then, further, locating the fire and, using 2 breathing apparatus and a CO2 extinguisher, extinguished same, continuing cutting away and investigating.

This fire was accidental and confined.
