1 Pumping Appliance from Hayle attended a bale of hay in a field near Vicarage Gate, St Erth which was well alight.
Crew used Beaters and Hay Forks to extinguish the arson suspected fire and Police were informed.
There is no further information about this incident from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.
