At 1853 this evening Cornwall Fire and Rescue received a call to an electrical fire in a property in Lanivet. Two crews from Bodmin attended the incident. On their arrival the crews found a small fire in a consumer unit. A dry powder and CO2 extinguisher were used to put out the fire and Western Power were called to attend to isolate the electricity supply to the property to allow the crews to apply water to a smouldering joist.
