Grill Pan Fire

Two pumping appliances from Bodmin Community Fire Station, with a total of 11 firefighters on board, plus a wholetime officer, attended a call to a grill pan fire, this afternoon.
The two-storey semi detached domestic property, measuring approximately 10 metres x 5 metres, had the grill pan fire in the kitchen on the ground floor. Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering jet were used to extinguish the fire; and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the ground floor, which was smoke logged.
The fire was accidental and confined.
