Two appliances from Falmouth attended a report of a cooker fire at a domestic property just outside the village Port Navas. On arrival crews wearing breathing apparatus inspected the kitchen and found a pan of oil had been on fire it was out and crews removed the pan to outside. Firefighters inspected area around the cooker and found signs of charring on an extractor fan, the area was cut away and a thermal image camera was used to ensure the fire had not spread. The building was then ventilated to remove smoke.
