On receipt of this call from the ambulance service stating a vehicle entrapment, both appliances from Bude and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival there were found to be two vehicles involved, Fire & Rescue personnel assisted with the removal of one casualty from within a vehicle, who was treated at the scene by attending ambulance personnel and subsequently transferred to hospital, crews then proceeded to ensure the vehicles and scene was made safe.
