Light Fitting Fire

Crews from Helston and Mullion Community Fire Stations were mobilised to a light fitting fire in a large residential building, earlier this evening.
The 30 room, 4 storey building, measuring approximately 20 metres x 40 metres, had a fire in the electrical light fitting in the office on the first floor. Crews wore 2 breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet and one dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the small fire.
The cause was accidental and confined.
