Two appliances from Bodmin Fire Station were in attendance at this incident. The fire was out on arrival located in a ground floor flat. A toaster had been left on top of a cooker and the crew isolated the power to the cooker and used positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoke from the building. The cause was accidental and confined.
