One appliance from Redruth attended following a report of an explosion and smoke issuing. On arrival the crew found that some bedding was alight in a passageway, under a shop. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used 2 hosereels to extinguish the fire. Arson is suspected and the police are now dealing.
