Two fire appliances were mobilised to a mid-terrace cottage measuring approximately 6m by 5m where there was a small fire above the fireplace. The crew used two breathing appartus and one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire and they also completed a Home Fire Safety Check whilst on the premises. The fire involved candles and the cause was accidental and confined. Please find attached candle safety in the home information.
