On receipt of this call, appliances from Newquay were mobilised, on arrival the crew found an outhouse approximately ten by five metres well alight, the fire involved hay bales, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the scene with high pressure hosereel jets, the farmer also used his tractor to remove bales from the affected area, crews also proceeded to cut away an adjacent wall as a preventative measure.
