At 00:35hrs Fire Control received a call to a fire in the private apartments at a hotel in Newquay. One appliance from Newquay Fire Station and a Wholetime Officer attended the incident. Two sheds beneath the apartment were found to be well alight. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. There is no further information on this incident.
