Fire crews from Perranporth and Newquay Community Fire Stations attended a fire this afternoon, in Pollards Close, Goonhavern.
The two storey semi-detached domestic dwelling, measuring approximately 10 metres x 6 metres had a fire in the ground floor kitchen area.
Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one CO2 extinguisher to tackle the blaze. Further, as there was heavy smoke logging throughout the premise, a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear this.
Three persons were left in the care of the ambulance service.
This incident was accidental and confined.
