On receipt of this call stating that there was a two vehicle traffic collision with persons trapped, one appliance from Liskeard and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival at the scene it was confirmed that two vehicles were involved and that one person was trapped, Fire & Rescue personnel proceeded to use crash rescue equipment at the scene to gain access and assist in the removal of the casualty. Ambulance personnel were an scene and as well as dealing with the trapped person assisted two further casualties. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were in attendance.
