On the initial call for this incident, the caller believed that a property was on fire, appliances from Lostwithiel, Fowey and Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be a detached garage, measuring five by ten metres, on fire and a vehicle was contained within, Fire & Rescue personnel wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hosereels to extinguish the fire, crews were delayed for a time damping down. The cause was accidental.
