Ten firefighters from Penzance attended a call to a fire in a cooker hood which had spread to the ceiling. Crews used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a safety jet to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check the fire had not spread further. Once out the property was naturally ventilated.
