One appliance from Torpoint Fire Station, one from Saltash Fire Station, the water rescue vehicles from St Austell and two wholetime officers were mobilised to reports of a boat fire at Southway Marina. On arrival at the scene crews found there to be a small fire smouldering in the cabin area of the vessel. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and after checking for hotspots assisted the owner in pumping out the firefighting water. There are no further details available for this incident.
