One appliance from Truro Fire Station, the rescue tender from Tolvaddon Fire Station and a wholetime officer attended a road traffic collision between Chiverton Cross and Perranporth. This was a multi vehicle collision with one person trapped in a vehicle. Crews used crash rescue equipment and assisted the ambulance service in rescuing the casualty who was left in their care. The vehicle was made safe and the incident was handed over to Devon and Cornwall Police.
