Fire In Disused Building

A call was received to a fire involving a disused building. Crews from St Austell Community Fire Station were mobilised and discovered a portacabin measuring approximately 25 x 25 metres.
Further appliances were requested and mobilised from Mevagissey and St Dennis.
In total, crews used four breathing apparatus and 2 jets along with a hosereel to extinguish the fire.
Persons were reported early in the incident, but after a thorough search of the building were subsequently accounted ffor.
Arson was suspected.
