Two appliances from Launceston Fire Station, two from Bude Fire Station, the water rescue vehicles from St Austell Fire Station and Bude Fire Station and two wholetime officers were called to reports of a person trapped in a van in flood water. On arrival crews found one casualty in approximately 3 feet of slow flowing water. Crews set up a hose inflation kit and a boat was used to rescue the casualty who was pushed back to dry land.
