Five firefighters on one appliance from Falmouth attended a call to a property where the occupant was reporting their gas meter had exploded. On crews arrival Firefighters confirmed that a water pipe had burst in the property - not the gas meter. Crew isolated the water, gas and electricity in the property and remained on scene until a gas engineer had made the property safe.
