Seven firefighters on two appliances from Mullion attended a call to a dishwasher which had been involved in a fire overnight and was discovered by occupant this morning. Fortunately the fire was out on arrival, crews removed the appliance from the property and fitted two smoke detectors in the premise before leaving scene.
