Nine firefighters on two appliances from Penzance attended a call from an alarm monitoring centre, the centre informed Fire Control that they had spoken to the occupant of the property and they had requested the Fire Service to attend. On crews arrival they discovered a bin fire in the kitchen of the premise. Crews entered the premise wearing two breathing apparatus and extinguished the fire using a carbon dioxide extinguisher.
