Five firefighters on one appliance from St Austell attended a call to a chimney fire. On crews arrival the fire had spread from the chimney to a wood mantle piece in the property. Crews used a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, one hose reel to extinguish the fire, once the fire was out small tools were used to cut away and make safe.
