At 14:57 a call was recieved to a property with a fire in an electrical plant room. Nine crew on two appliances from Mullion and six firefighters on an appliance from Helston were mobilised to the scene. On crews arrival the power room was full of smoke, firefighters were unable to isolate the main electricity supply to the building and requested electricity engineers attend to isolate the power. Crews evacuated the building involved due to arching of electricity cables in the premise. At 15:20 a request for a third appliance was made, Five firefighters from St Keverne were mobilised to the scene. Once electricity engineers were in attendance firefighters tackled the fire with two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. A thermal imaging camera was used to locate the fire and extinguish it. 17:45 crews from Mullion, Helston and St Kevern remain on scene damping down the scene.
