Crews from Falmouth and Truro Community Fire Stations attended a call to a shop in Market Street, Falmouth, where the smoke alarms had actuated and there was a smell of burning. The building was evacuated.
Arriving on scene, crews discovered a small electrical fire and used 2 breathing apparatus, a CO2 extinguisher, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera, to extinguish the fire.
The fire was accidental and confined.
