Five firefighters from Bodmin attended a call to a small fire in a property near St Minver. On crews arrival there had been a small fire involving logs which had been stored around a wood burning stove, the fire had started as a result of radiated heat. The occupant of the property had extinguished the fire on crews arrival. Firefighters removed the burnt logs from around the wood burner to outside the house. A home fire safety check was carried out, advice given and smoke alarms fitted.
