Eleven firefighters on two appliances from Falmouth attended a call to a kitchen fire in a flat on Melville road. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire in the ground floor kitchen. Fire crews administered oxygen to one female casualty suffering from smoke inhalation, the casualty was left in the care of paramedics before the fire service left the scene.
